Benefits: Pollinators, Birds, Deer Resistant
Sun: Full, Partial
Soil Moisture: Medium-Wet, Medium, Medium-Dry
Height: 6 Feet
Bloom Time: July, August, September, October
Very similar in height and structure to Giant Yellow Hyssop, only with a feathery light purple spike. It has a very high nectar content and attracts native butterflies and native bees including the federally endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee. I see birds eating the seed through fall and winter. Native and common in parts of New York, though has become endangered in several eastern states.
