A gorgeous wetland plant found natively all over greater Rochester, the flower resembles a turtle. It is almost exclusively pollinated by bumble bees, due to their ability to pry open the flower. It is a host plant for the beautiful Baltimore Checkerspot! Plant in full sun and consistently moist to wet soil.
