Virgin’s Bower is a spectaularly showy perrenial vine. Once it establishes, it can entirely camouflage an old fence with delicate flowers and their pollinators. It also adds to bird habitat due to its unpalatability and toxicity to mammals. That means it’s also very deer resistant! According to the National Wildlife Federation, it attracts 10 species of butterflies and moths in our area.
