An amazing ‘backdrop’ to brightly colored, perennials. It looks good massed and its soft velvety color and tiny flowers are long lived- from mid summer through late fall. Best yet, it is always covered in pollinators due to its sweet minty smell that deer do not enjoy (win/win). I often use this plant in front of plants that deer enjoy eating such as New England Aster. It deters deer.
