Such a magical looking plant! If you want to see the full design potential of this plant- look to the gardens of the Highline in Chelsea. It is also an absolute pollinator magnet and prefers full sun. It can get floppy in part sun. I plant mine with grasses or wild bergamot to add structure. It is increasingly hard to run across Culver’s Root in the wild in NYS in fact it is officially considered Threatened and is in danger of becoming extinct according to the New York Heritage Program. By planting it in your yard as a non cultivar, seed grown plant you may help with its preservation.
