Boneset gets official ‘rockstar’ designation in my yard. The flowers are easy to access for all kinds of pollinator - including insects that control harmful insect pests- as such it can be seen as a natural pest management system. Though it prefers wetter soils, once established does just fine in average garden soil with very little upkeep needed (aka NONE). It is also a host to 42 moth and butterfly species including one of my favorites the Clymene moth.
