Lespedeza hirta (Hairy Bush Clover)

This species of Bush Clover is similar to Hairy Bush Clover in its high protein and nitrogen fixing qualities. However it is less showy and prefers more of a part shade, dry to mesic open area. It is found locally associated with sandy soils and Black Oaks.
