Another Monarch magnet with a bloom late in the season that fuels Monarch migration. This showy species is my favorite companion to New England Aster and does well in average garden soil. It does not spread by rhizomes like Canada Goldenrod, in fact it pretty well behaved. I watch birds eat the seeds all winter.
